These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of iEcoAfrica's Website.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use iEcoAfrica's website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: "Client", “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and "Us", refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of United Kingdom. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
Information about iEcoAfrica
iEcoAfrica online is a sustainability communications platform designed to help actors and entities communicate with target audiences, establish partnerships for impact at scale and create a blue print for organisational sustainability in Africa.
Registering with iEcoAfrica
There are two levels of registration with iEcoAfrica:
Registration involves providing us with your personal information such as your email address, your full name, date of birth, address and setting a password. Network members are able to establish groups, message other network members, post events and are authorised to access all areas of iEcoAfrica platform.When registering you will be subscribed to an email newsletter through which you will receive occasional emails about the platform, promotions, new features, or new products associated with the service. You will be able to unsubscribe from the list at anytime and request to have your account deleted.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and must take all reasonable steps to keep it confidential. If your security is breached and someone uses your details, advise us immediately and we will cancel the registration. You can change your details at any time by logging in to the website and editing your profile as required.
Our goal is to have the service available all the time without any disruptions (99.99% of the time). iEcoAfrica cannot be held liable for any service outages. Planned outages will be notified to members via email, newsletter and the website.
Changes to iEcoAfrica
iEcoAfrica plans to evolve to improve the experience and the service we offer. We reserve the right to implement further expansions and limits pertaining to the service and experience over time. This includes modifying or discontinuing, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that iEcoAfrica shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the service. We intend to give our registered members advance notice before any changes are made either via email, newsletter or the website.
International Legal Compliance
As the internet transcends national boundaries, you agree to comply with your local laws and polices in force regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
Any content you post to iEcoAfrica must comply with commonly acceptable standards of behaviour. You must not be libellous, defamatory or otherwise illegal in what you post. Posted content which is unacceptable includes comment which is offensive, aggravates and/or objectionable to others; racist and/or ethnically objectionable; obscene; libellous; harmful; hateful; harasses; threatens; defames; abusive; vulgar; incites violence. You must respect third party rights and not violate privacy, trademark or copyright. We reserve the right to remove such content and terminate the account of members who violate these standards.
In the unlikely event of members getting into disputes between themselves we expect members to resolve the issue amicably. If we find that a dispute is being conducted in a manner which is detrimental to the best interests of the community, we reserve the right to intervene and act appropriately. All disputes should be reported immediately to email@example.com In the event that a dispute takes place between members on iEcoAfrica or outside of iEcoAfrica but regarding an issue originating on iEcoAfrica we will not be held liable, but will comply and act accordingly in our power to resolve the dispute fairly. Although we conduct checks to ensure the credibility of our users. We reserve the right to leave all members responsible for conducting due diligence before entering into any partnerships, contracts or purchasing products and services from other network members on the platform
Use of iEcoAfrica
iEcoAfrica may only be used by you for lawful purposes. You are responsible for your account, the data within it and keeping your password confidential. If you realise that someone else has been using your account (without your permission) please email us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
New forms of Internet Abuse
Members own their own data. iEcoAfrica will not use your personal data shared on the site for any other purpose than to advance sustainability discourse throughout our network. We will collate members and users data to support comparison, measurement across groups, on-going analysis, etc. You represent and warrant that with regard to any posts you make to groups and in posts that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content you post and that it is accurate and not in breach of engage policies or guidelines. You agree to indemnify iEcoAfrica for any claims brought by a third party against iEcoAfrica in connection with any breach of these warranties.
Investigation & Complaint Process
Resale of the Service
You expressly agree not to sell, resell, copy, duplicate, reproduce or exploit any part of the iEcoAfrica service, application or documentation or create derivative works from such content or materials.
A subscription may be transferred from one person to another within a company.
A new subscription may be cancelled, in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org, within 30 days for a full refund, less a 20% administration fee.
Any cancellations within three months of the date of start of the subscription will be eligible for a 50% refund. After three months, no refunds will be applicable.
The value of any subscriber discounts that have been taken up during a subscription will be deducted from any refund applicable.
Event and Conference Refund or Discounts
iEcoAfrica network members are eligible for discounts on iEcoAfrica conferences and events, and should identify themselves as subscribers when making a booking.
Event and conference refunds are given in most circumstances with stipulations. A full refunds is permitted no less than six weeks before the event date, less all initial discounts applied. After this date you may send an alternate to the event without additional charge. To request a cancellation or to make a change please send an email to email@example.com
Unless otherwise stated, iEcoAfrica and/or it’s licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on iEcoAfrica All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may view and/or print pages from http://iecoafrica.com/ for your own personal use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

No content from the site, including without limitation all text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, video media, artwork, design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, look and feel and the arrangement thereof, are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks or other proprietary rights and laws.Except from your data or posts to discussion groups, nothing can be copied, captured or quoted in any manner without the express written permission of iEcoAfrica. iEcoAfrica is constantly evolving to attain the best possible service for our network; we reserve the right to implement further practices and limits pertaining to the use of the service over time. You agree that iEcoAfrica shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the service. We will ensure to notify our network and users of all changes to service by email and on the website where applicable.
This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
Certain parts of this website offer the opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions, information, material and data ('Comments') in areas of the website. iEcoAfrica does not screen, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their appearance on the website and Comments do not reflect the views or opinions of iEcoAfrica, its agents or affiliates. Comments reflect the view and opinion of the person who posts such view or opinion. To the extent permitted by applicable laws iEcoAfrica shall not be responsible or liable for the Comments or for any loss cost, liability, damages or expenses caused and or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.
iEcoAfrica reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which it considers in its absolute discretion to be inappropriate, offensive or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
